Altida have invested over £700k in a brand new, state of the art transport fleet! Our transport fleet now features Hiabs, rigid plant trucks, rear wheel steer trailers, articulated lorries and step frame low loaders. All of our vehicles have traffic management systems, allowing for a seamless journey to site. Alongside the investment made into transportation vehicles, Altida have also expanded our specialist team of dedicated drivers, who have undergone extensive training to ensure the highest level of safety and operation for our customers.
Transporting long distances? Need an escort vehicle? No problem – we have our very own escort vehicles, so that when an abnormal load needs to be transported, our team can cover the entire transport route safely and efficiently. From planning through to execution, our team can walk you through every step of your project and put together the best solutions for transporting heavy payloads.
If you have something (up to 50 tonnes) which needs transporting – we can help. There really isn’t much we can’t move – over the last few months we’ve transported canal boats, overhead cranes, water pipes, shipping containers and air conditioning units, all with our new heavy haulage vehicles!
